Cassava has always been a staple in our communities, yet its potential has often been overlooked. I saw an opportunity not just to reduce waste, but to create something meaningful ,a bridge between tradition, empowerment, and innovation.
Growing up, I witnessed the incredible strength of our mothers ,the women working tirelessly in the fields to support their families and sustain their communities. Their hands, weathered by labor yet strong with love, carried the weight of our dreams. Too often, their contributions went unseen.
The Snack Shop was created to honor them.
Every purchase is a tribute to their resilience — a celebration of their role as the backbone of our society. Our mission is to nourish not just bodies, but futures ,restoring dignity to their work, creating opportunities for the youth they raise, and building pride in what we grow.
